The Mindset of your average Gump (as told by an L5U fan)

So I took the family a few weeks back to see Mickey Mouse down in Florida. Had a good time, ran into the British, who were still doing their big 'Holiday', and lots of nice people. Saw lots of Aggies fans standing in line to see Chp and Dale, which was weird.
We also saw Bama fans here and there, who, I guess like most fan bases, are proud to show their colors wherever they go. And I suppose, as I reflect on it, they have the most to be proud of most years.
Anywho, a family of bammers, got on a bus with us around Downtown Disney. Led by the patriarch, they were decked out in their colors and roll tide shirts. So, me being the friendly and hospitable SEC bretheren that I am, I said to him "You guys have a big game coming up against Michigan State huh?". He turned to me, with a very solemn but somewhat anxious expression, and said "Every game is a big game."
Lol what the frick dude? This guy replied to me like he was Nick Saban. He didn't seem like he was enjoying himself on the HAPPIEST place on earth. Now, I'll admit, That New Orleans resort stays packed with LSU fans (Disneys fault for theming a resort like that), but seriously, are most Bama fans like this?
What else do you guys have a zest for in life?
What kind of women do you prefer, besides your cousins?
Where can I find my mother-in-law a good deal on a trailer?
Surely you guys aren't Bama football 24/7...?

I'm probably an average Gump. My current mindset is "what's the best steakhouse in Dallas?"

I once spent a week in Birmingham on newspaper business. I enjoyed it immensely. Now, this was when Bear was alive.
Every day The News had at least two stories on Bama football. I thought to myself, driving back on I-20, why in Hades can't Columbia do that? I am that serious about Carolina or Georgia and I wish everybody was. Then there is that museum just up the road. I envy the Tide and not ashamed to admit it.

That's the cross that we, as Bama fans, have to bear when you're errbody's Super Bowl.
You underlings wouldn't understand.

Arrogance at its best. And every word is the truth. I once thought that Parisians were the most arrogant people on earth. Then it immediately came to me: The have a right to be. So does Bama.

what I don't understand, is that at this time of year... how could you NOT be?
This is part of the problem for L5U. Lack of serious focus. You are not doing your part as part of the Proc... on wait, you guys don't have a Process any more. Never mind.
