Funny because whenever our QB is doing well, everyone else says it as a knock on that QB.

Didn't Bama's QB's throw 6 or 7 picks in the spring game?

In past years, this could hold true. In both AJ McCarron's and Greg McElroy's first seasons, they were able to hand the ball off and play with the best defenses in college football. The offenses was flat and the quarterbacks were game managers, but it lead to victories. They ran the ball, controlled the clock and played outstanding defense.

Now, Alabama can't afford to do that. Their defenses have been exposed by high tempo, spread offenses that can score. Alabama had to adjust by letting their quarterbacks open in up through the air and by method of also running a high tempo, spread offense that thrives by scoring points.

Do they have a quarterback that can do that? It doesn't seem so, but we will see.

I had experience working with Coker in the weight room during my time at FSU.

All the ability you'd want in a QB...but incredibly introverted which I believe is a struggle for anyone in a role traditionally held by charismatic leaders.

It is what it is at this point, but anyone that thinks his "disappointing career" is because he lacks the skill or talent basically doesn't know wtf they're talking about. The kid is good...he's just too damn reserved.

We didn't have a QB last year and did pretty well with a pretty crappy defense.
