I have respect for a young man that can accomplish what he has after having to go through a childhood such as he had to endure. God Bless him and his family and wish nothing but the best for this young man and his family. It is because of young men like DJ Williams that speaks of the true meaning of Amature Athletics.

It is because of the desire and dedication of young men and women like DJ Williams reminds us all what true amature sports is all about. Because of seeing his story it makes me mad because of the people that cheat and try to lie their way through this period of their lifes. It is during trials like this that shapes a young person's life and helps them to have respect for what it means to truly earn what they have achieved in life through hard work, desire, dedication and the will to succeed in life and all that they go through.

Great to see good character stories like his coming out of college football. Too many about not so good things...

Thanks. He will be successful in whatever path he follows in life, and so will those around him. The kid even goes to old folks homes and plays the piano for the geezers.
