The LSU-Texas A&M Game Used to Be a Big Deal. What Happened?

This is a spinoff from that rivalry thread. I really thought that when A&M came in the SEC that the old rivalry from the past would be rekindled and LSU would finally have a true rival.
What a disappointment. I remember how we hated to play A&M in the 80s and 90s. Now, it is good to know that we will get the win and improve our bowl seeding after we generally fall apart after the Alabama game.
Hoping we turn things around this year, but I am glad that we have that A&M game on the schedule now. So, what happened to A&M?

Lou state then quit the series and ran home to the bayou. Now they are attempting to rekindle whatever was there with rivalry towels at games. I give them credit for trying but we just don't respect them anymore. Such is life.
