How would it be at all relevant to the SEC or SECrant otherwise? Why would we be discussing anything else?

Just shows you need a lot more than a great QB to have a great team. At the college level a super athlete at QB can change the game, but all you need is a guy that doesn't make many mistakes and can hit an open WR. The kicking game and defense are just as or more important than a good QB.
