Archie and the panel didn't want the best coach available, they needed a patriot.

They wanted an OM faithful that would let the boosters run wild in a last ditch effort at success. Who else would be better?

You all saw the 2011 season. OM got a goofy, Yo eleven rolling, shoot to kill good old boy and went for it. Someone who wouldn't be successful in an honest program and owed OM a favor.

They didn't want corvette Larry. That was more diversive bullshite to cover the plan of action.

If we get anything short of multiple post season bans I will still be happy and say it was and is worth it. We were a dumpster fire and had no real way to actually compete without majorly breaking the rules. I applaud our boosters for making a serious effort to actually do what it takes.

If we get stuck with minor scholarship losses I consider it a huge victory, and we won't be going away for a while.

Exactly how I feel. I love the people acting like we should be ashamed for cheating to get recruits

In this PC world we live in,OM will probably get off the hook pennies on the dollar.

Yeah, the thing with punishment is that you really have to make sure the cheating wasn't worth the squeeze. But don't worry, I'm sure not a single person working for the NCAA realizes this.

For what it's worth, I wish Dan would've ponied up like y'all have been in 2010. We'd have a natty and the bans would've been worth every second.

The ole Gene Chizik strategy...hire a dummy that won't ask questions and turn the boosters loose. Auburn got away with it, OM doesn't look like it will be so lucky.
