If the Cocks win tonight, it's his 200th win as an SEC head Coach. That would put him 92 wins behind Coach Bear Bryant.

Averages 10 wins a year take him 10 years to pass Coach Bryant. OBC is how old? 70? No way he coaches till he is 80

Although I agree with your comment, also keep in mind Bear Bryant was a HC for 37 years. This is Steve Spurriers 25th.

Bryant's win % was .780 over 38 years
Spurriers's is .733 over 25 years.

Bryant only lost 85 games in 38 years
Spurrier has lost 79 in his 25 years.

Bryant also only played on avg 11 games a year
Spurrier has played on avg 13 games a year

The info confused me. Are we counting just Paul's wins in the SEC? You do realize that Paul coached at other schools, correct?

Yes Bear Bryant had 292 wins as an SEC head coach. He had 323 wins overall as a HC.

Pawll had zero competition. 85 losses is an embarrassment.

so he averaged over 2 losses every year while cheating and playing against a bunch of nobodies? Overrated much??

Spurrier
