I agree, there is so much unused space in the lower bowl of Tiger Stadium. Lets Hope Aleva is reading this thread.

Do you have a timetable for the TS interior improvements?

It will definitely be part of the next round of TAF improvements. When they get a list together totaling around $100 million, they'll announce it.

Looks like Sand volleyball stadium, Tiger Stadium improvements, PMAC improvements, improvements to the Box, and maybe either a redo or new natatorium will be the projects lumped together.

I'd guess 2017 or 2018.

Good God.

Why is it that the Mississippi State people are the ones that are posting all the new shite? This is a thread about eye-sores and embarrassing parts of your campus. You'd think they would have plenty to pick from.

Self deprecation can be cathartic and endearing. You might want to try it.

Well let me get get my checkbook out or atleast I would be able too if things had worked out between me and the billionaire's daughter that I dated at LSU.

PMAC just needs to be replaced in 10-15 years IMO. They shouldn't waste any major money updatinge it and instead should keep it fixed up and design a new arena that has about 10-12K seating capacity and suites. It looks like they could demo the PMAC and build a new arena and then slap a new facade onto the practice facility to match. LSU just needs a new natorium it would probably be cheaper than trying to make a world class nat out of the dump that LSU currently has. Plus that real land would be much better used as part of the new nicholson gate project than as a natorium. Put a new natorium by the new tennis center.

Quick question: Did they relocate the cow farm away from the Box?

Nope. There's also that maintenance shed behind the outfield. Along with all of U-High's athletic fields.

I was always intrigued by the idea on demolishing middleton and renovating and updating the Hill library as the library. Its got the classic look and it right next to a parking lot and the bus drop which would make getting to and from the library late at night much safer or atleast fell safer. Even though escorting a girl to her car is how I hit it off with the billionaire's daughter in the first place.

Hill Memorial Library for the non-LSU folks reading:

Damn so there is still that wonderful aroma whenever there is a stong south wind? I guess they wanted Miss State to feel at home when they played us.

To me the best solution would be to move U-High down south of campus, along with all of it's athletic fields.

Use that space behind the Law School for a new library. It would much closer to sorority row and many of the campus dorms.

but then how could the KAs sit on the roof and drink beer and comment on U-High's football team and lie about how badass high school football stars we were back in the day?

To me, Fraternity Row needs to move down south as well. That section of campus is too crowded for them IMO. And it would be better used for academic buildings.

Prolly never happen though.

Speaking of dorms, these were almost as badass LSU's

I get what you're saying, and the two new frats will be moving in as well.

But for the right deal...like South Carolina's new greek village...they'd all move. Would take some serious money to make it happen though, and too many other projects with higher priorities would come before that.

That would be cool, but I would rather have crappier frat owned houses than have the school build cookie cutter houses that they owned. It helps give the frats some leverage when jonathon sanders goes on his annual witch hunt.

Greeks have become more important to universities lately. As a recruiting tool and because greeks are more likely to give back to the school afterwards.

So it makes sense to make sure the greek experience is all it could be. I don't think that's the case now at LSU.

Far from it IMO.
