The "Your campus in Pictures" thread provided some beautiful pictures of the campuses of the SEC, but I know without a doubt there are some embarrassing parts of every campus.

LSU most certainly has its fair share of architectural atrocities and areas that have not been maintained.

The Huey P. Long Field House: It was once one of the most popular hangouts for LSU students during the warm months but it has been abandoned for quite some time. Fortunately it is set to be remodeled (without the pool)

Middleton Library (AKA Club Mid): Walking through the quad, the Library may not seem all that bad, but it is long overdue for renovations. Also its square, simple shape stands out from the Mediterranean style architecture of the buildings that surround it as you can see in the second picture. Its bland style of architecture would be more fitting in Communist Russia or at Texas A&M along with the bathrooms of Coates Hall.

The Interior of Tiger Stadium: Over the Past few years Tiger Stadium has gone through multiple exterior renovations, however the interior of the stadium has been neglected. Within the stadium there are old generators and abandoned rooms that take the place of what could be more bathrooms and concession stands. This is the best picture I could find. On the right side of the picture you will notice the visible pipes and lack of lighting in the interior paths of the stadium.

The Dairy Store: is also in dire need of remodeling

Studio Arts Building: The state of the building has gotten so bad, last year Art students protested against the conditions of the building

Holy cow that arts building is bad. Parker Hall is probably Auburn's worst building and we are getting rid of it with the quickness. That art building makes Parker Hall look like a damn 5* resort.

Parker Hall

Houses freshman classes. Built in the 1950s and hasn't been redone.

Such a terrible studying environment. After freshman year, I would just study upstairs at the Law Library. My study breaks consisted of looking down at the miserable law students

My niece is a studio artist at LSU and we went by her design space the last time we were in town. That place is a disaster.

Yeah all the older LSU alum I talk to always mention the Pool House when they talk about their best memories form college. I wish I could have experienced the same

Isn't it now difficult for non-law students to enter the Law library? I would study there if I could get in

It was immortalized in Pitch Perfect. Time to brick it up.

Coker Building, host a number of hard science departments. Including Astronomy... which is housed in the basement I believe.

School of Law

However, a new building is currently being built

Its one of the oldest buildings on Campus. IMO they should just gut it and completely remodel it

About to be demolished, thank God, Parker Hall:

Also, Haley Center is turrible, although I'm sure it's going soon:
