The dumbest strategic choice you have seen your current head coach make?

In recent history for Mizzou it was Odom's decision last year to shift away from an attacking D-Line scheme that had helped to develop numerous first round draft picks and NFL players in addition to being the strength and identity of the team and shifting 180 degrees to a read and react scheme that the players neither bought or fit into.
The dumbest in game decision was last year against Georgia, Odom had the game in the bag and thought it'd be a great idea to leave Isaiah freaking McKenzie in single coverage at the 20 yard line in a 4th and 10 situation. That play poisoned what could have been a MASSIVE confidence building game for Odom which instead has become a turd snowball that has tumbled down hill into the poop boulder we see today.

Run Kam Pettway into the ground against Mercer and get him hurt.

Air the ball out with a true freshman QB taking his first collegiate snaps on the road as a 34 point third quarter lead dwindled to 0

last year in a game against clemson, a game that was clearly winnable, gus "mr. wizard" malzahn ran the wing t, 4 quarterback, whirlybird, clusterfrick that was something that a mighty mite coach wouldn't do

Hail mary defense against Tennessee.
Instead of our tallest receiver being one of the 3 deep safeties, we had our best pass rusher there. It did not work out.

Think he wouldn't be in over his head when he applied for the job.

Not knowing the clock was going to start back after a penalty at the end of the 1st half against South Carolina was pretty bad as well.
Should have at least called TO and gave us a FG try.

Telling Grier he wasnt wanted. Clearly he cant recruit or develop that position. So why try to keep these best one here since Tebow...
In game. God I cant even. To many not sure which is the worse.

2016 Arkansas game. Arkie had a terrible run defense and McElwain decided to throw the ball 37 times with a QB that the staff knew had some shoulder trouble. We only ran the ball 11 times in that game. That was fist time a major red flag about this staff went up for me.

Ed Orgeron doesn't have a special teams coach

Special Teams "coach by committee" approach.

So there was this time we didn't cover two wide open receivers who ended up scoring TDs....
