The dreaded injury bug starts to bite......

No matter how much you prepare, be it 23 hours a day like Satan and recruit and plan there is always luck involved in winning.
We always focus on the luck of a ball bounce, or play call, weather condition, or bad official call etc. But really there is probably no bigger luck factor involved in injuries to key players at key positions. (See Treadwell @ Ole Miss last year. One injury away from probably best season in 50 years.)
A bad blade of grass, or spot in the field, or ankle turn. The dreaded lineman rolling back on someones legs, the knee just unexpectedly buckles. I am not talking about conditioning injuries which can be avoided, but all the others. And for every injury there is at least a few plays where everyone holds their breathe and the player just pops up without a scratch or with just a bruise. Now we have the concussion issue as well. And it seems like at the college level more of them seem to come in practice than games. All you have to do is to watch the injury that ended arguably the greatest athlete of our time, Bo Jackson's career, to see the luck factor involved. (In his case bad luck.)

We have had what Coker form Bama banged up, Running back Jonathon Williams from Arky maybe out for the season, Duke Williams of Auburn allegedly injured (Although Auburn posters say all Bama plot) while Dequille Williams already has banged up ankle, Macrus Jackson for Tennessee gone for the season, OL Rod Taylor from Ole Miss out, Christian Payne of Georgia gone for a while, and this not counting the dozens of little nagging injuries that players have just not developed that we don't know about and will not until the end of the season if ever.

And we are what in week two of practice? And games are already being won and lost as this player jumps up from a scary tackle, this one gets carted off, and this one is realizing that something is just not right.
Here is to the great equalizer and destroyer of dreams, the dreaded injury bug. May it feast upon your opponents and not rear its ugly head at your teams expenses. and please don't bite out thin DL.

A Beckwith or d tackle injury keeps us from championship play this season. Hopefully everyone stays healthy by some miracle

Do some people still find this amusing or does it feel worn out?

Trust me. The Auburn fans are happy about that too. We need him and his kind around for a while to remind us how fun that was.

Why the frick we ever let Bama fans and Auburn assholes on here I will never know. Like being in a nice neighborhood until the drunk, wife beating POS with money moves in next door.
Some ATPB posters were FBI. (active and retired) And he was fricking paid and you mfers know it. Truth will come out one day, even in godforsaken bama.
