Watching this right now on the SECn. I grew up being able to watch Archie play live, and he was such a great athlete, and watching this show, he's an even better man and father.
Very rare individual, not many like him anymore. Much respect Mr. Manning.

Best of them all easily,

Archie broke this little boy's heart in '68 and '69, but strangely, he was still one of my idols. I was in awe that he played with a cast in the '70 game.
Sure wish he could have played with a winning team with the Saints...

Yeah, a shame he never had a winning season. That team was awful the entire time he was there.

But I love the fact that he never complained about it, just worked hard. Very rare. You don't see that today at all.

My wife actually watched the entire documentary with me. She isn't a football fan, but she loved the insight into the Manning family.

Archie just seems like a phenomenal father and human being.

Peyton crying constantly as a little kid while playing football with his brother in the front yard was hilarious.

I'm disappointed it didn't mention the '70 Sugar Bowl. #13 Ole Miss upset #3 Arkansas in what was probably one of Manning's biggest wins in college.

His picture was on the front page of the Times-Pic the next morning. MVP.

I was 2 years old at the time, so I can't say I remember that.

Had he already been drafted by the Saints at that point?

Truly.

And as many have said he's like the best of the best of men. Seeing someone who was that well adjusted has made me look in my mirror long and hard. I wish I was half the man and father that guy has been.

No one mentioned it because it's not impressive. Even Jordan Jefferson beat #3 Arkansas in college.

Manning could have been a great dad, but he let one of his sons go to that miserable school in tennessee, so I think he is just a good dad.

You don't know Bo was better imo, but both were really good.

Pretty sacreligious to name it like its biblical, especially considering none of them won a natty or heisman.

Seems like their legacy is more tied to the NFL than CFB.

I'm not trolling in the slightest. Archie threw more picks than TDs in college. Peyton obviously played on a great team and was unable to win as big as tee Martin.
