I think with all the hype he got, people found a way to justify his average stats.

Then he goes undrafted

He's a Jet now, he's dropped a lot of weight...

That receiver from Louisiana whose name I can't even remember because he was such a bust. Played for AU.

That's definitely him. Trooper Taylor said he would break records.

Darius Winston was a 5* who was never very good at Arkansas.

Snoop Brassell at Ole Miss. Currently in the CFL after a JUCO stint. Started at WR and CB as a true freshman at Ole Miss, Hugh could never get him eligible after the Houston Nutt shitshow.

Enrique Davis was a 5* RB who signed with Auburn out of HS and Ole Miss out of Prep School and never made an impact.

Probably 2/3 of Houston Nutt's 4*s+ were busts, really.

O had some busts too. Cordera Eason and BRENT SHAYFUH come to mind

Freddie Smooth and Marcus Jemison literally murdered people before they got to AU. I think they were both in the 2008 class...Saban cleaned house and Tubs was duck hunting so we were left with some real winners.

separate cases? Gotta think that iced the Fulmer Cup that year:)

He was the 1st pick. That's the exact opposite of a bust.

That boy signed with LSU 2 times and never could qualify. Then once he was finally on path to qualify, Reuben Randle scared him off. NSD 2009 was fricking wild for LSU.

Duron Carter, never has a player who never stepped foot on the field got some much press.

Every other week was a story on him and people talked about him constantly and the dude never played 1 snap.

- Robert Davis. 5* RB from Homewood, AL that went to LSU in the early 90's.

Transferred later on to UAB, I believe.

- Charlie Dare. 5* OT at AL in the early 90's.

Billy Ray- National player of the year twice in high school. Had 130 scholarship offers. Held every state of Georgia passing record and 7 national records including most total yards by a QB. Joe Namath said he was the most talented QB he had ever seen at ANY level. Signed with Alabama. Rode the bench for 2 years and tranferred. Was beaten out by a WALK ON.

Billy Ray won an ACC title at Duke.

The only reason I use Shuler and Richardson is because they were so hyped up in the NFL and they both became yuuuuuge pro busts. Studs in college but yuuuge busts in the league. Now if you are talking about busts who couldn't even perform at the collegiate level, well you have to go with that UF quarterback form a couple of years ago. Not John Brantley but the kid just after him. Jeff something or other. Jeff Driskel and then Kenny Trill Hill

I think Russell Shepard should have done a lot more, but it wasn't his fault.
