ANY sport. Football. Basketball. Baseball.

This can be vs. any team including SEC teams. But the game has to have either championship type relevance (decides who goes to a championship) or is a championship game altogether.

I'm gonna go with (if I had to pick a favorite) a different one than I've usually picked, since watching a tape of the '92 championship just yesterday. Jay Barker sucked some serious arse in that game but Miami just got torn to shreds by that defense. It was like they were toying with them or something.

Go.

We got our tails kicked by Newton and Co in 2010. Still happy I went. Not happy we fricked up making 3 more appearances from 2011-2013.

Conf championships included? I think Justin Vincent is still running on the 03 UGA defense.

DJ Shockely got us back a couple of years later

Georgia whipped Arky in the 02 SECCG. Score was like 30-3 but it was way worse than the scoreboard indicated

Yeah that's the #1 answer. Florida picked the wrong year to be really good in 1995.

Not SEC, but another sport - UNLV over Duke in the early 90s. That was unfair. UNLV could have made the NBA Playoffs that year, and Duke was no slouch.

Yeah, LSU punished us that night. Score wasn't an indication of how bad it really was... I think LSU missed a number of extra points and field goals in this one. That's about the only thing they did wrong.

Fiesta Bowl between Florida and Nebraska has to be the worst arse kicking the SEC has ever taken in a CFB championship.

Kentucky pretty much drummed Arkansas in the SEC Tournament Championship Game in 14-15. It's probably one of the more dominant tournament championship games I've seen in recent memory.

As far as the NCAA Tournament itself, most games Elite Eight and later UK has been in have been reasonable but the '96 Sweet 16 game against a Rick Majerus Utah team that finished as #10 in the AP polls was an 101-70 arse whooping.

2002 SECCG - UGA beats Arkansas 30-3

UGA had that came blown out before they ever stepped foot on the field against Arky and Matt Jones.

2005 SECCG - UGA upsets LSU 34-14

I remember walking into the Fan Zone in the Georgia World Congress Center and actually feeling intimidated by how many LSU fans were there and how sure they were that they were going to own this game (they were 10-1 and primed to return to the BCS title game if they'd won, whereas UGA was ranked #13 and had dropped a couple of close games to Florida and Auburn while DJ Shockley was hurt throughout the middle of the season).

When I got into the Dome, my dad and I were just hoping it would be more competitive than 2003. I think we ended up picking off Jamarcus Russell 3 times and DJ just owned the LSU defense all night.

Arkansas's first 2 SEC championship game appearances were total arse rapings and were over within like the first quarter.

The final score got away from them but South Carolina was at least competitive for the first half in 2010.

There aren't many national championship stakes losses for SEC teams, and the few there are very close games as you would expect. Florida's arse kicking by Nebraska will probably never be surpassed in terms of an SEC team getting destroyed in a national championship game.

SEC teams have beat down many other teams in national championship games though. Alabama over Notre Dame probably the biggest. Alabama went totally vanilla in the 2nd half or probably would have put up 56+

It was Richt's 2nd season and we should have fricking known this would be the bittersweet nature of his tenure: capable of doing some great things but hampered by his inherent desire to take the foot off the gas
