The best thing about 4th and 25

Well, other than the play itself and the fact that had it not been converted, Ole Miss would have gone to Atlanta...

The best thing about the entire scenario is that the 4th and 25 play isn't what cost Ole Miss the game.

All they had to do was stop Arkansas from scoring a TD. Then all they had to do was successfully stop a two point conversion.

Arkansas had the ball at the Ole Miss 11. Ole Miss basically just had to last 4 more plays without giving up a touchdown.

Ole Miss just couldn't get out of their own way. Once they gave up the TD, they had a chance (and did) to stop the 2 point conversion, but grabbed the facemask of Brandon Allen, which gave Arkansas another shot from the 1 yard line.

Ole Miss was literally 1 play away from winning an SEC Championship... 3 different times in about a 1 minute time span.

Damn.

Anyways... Thanks Arkansas.

Did you watch that game? Defense was nonexistent. Everyone knew they were gonna score after that play.

The defense existed pretty well on that drive leading up to 4th & 25. It was bizarre, that's for sure.

We should have won it in regulation after we shut you down on 4 straight plays in the closing minute...our kicker sucked

Win by the fluke, lose by the fluke.

Being on the 11 yard line actually played to Arkansas' strength. Allen was slaying Ole Miss' secondary the entire game, and not being close to the goaline gave space to pass.

I've shat on a few of your previous threads, but I will give you one thing: you're good at disguising your troll threads and not making them entirely predictable. In that regard, you could teach most of our trolls

4th and 25 also wouldn't have happened had we actually blocked on the last second field goal for the win in regulation.

I'll always wonder if Ole Miss would've lost another SEC game had they gone on to win against Arkansas.

I feel the same way, but I suppose some questions are not meant to be answered.

I thought Arkansas scored every time you had the ball in the second half?
