12-0 Bama loses to 12-0 UGA in the SECCG.

UGA #1
Bama #3

Would need to be a really close game for that to work out. And perhaps a bit controversial so a portion of the country feels like Bama was jipped.

Yeah.

It would have to be down to the wire and some questionable call/event.

Just don't think they want two SEC teams.

The best scenario is that, to be honest, the other conferences have their best teams shite the bed while the G5 upstarts flame out.

While they want the best teams to play for it all... the play off committee really doesn't want two teams from the same conference in the playoffs. Especially since, and we are one of those teams, much of the rest of the SEC stinks on ice this year.

First, I don't see Georgia beating Alabama...but anything can happen.

However, Alabama would make it in because of their pedigree, and rightfully so. They've proven over the recent past that they are always at or near the top of the college football world, and until they start losing on a regular basis, they should get the benefit of the doubt.

If that happened, I would expect Bama to make it still.

I'm not a fan of that. I'm for each team in 4 team playoff winning their championship game. Letting Bama in after losing SEC champ game would be undeserved and kind of shitty scenario for UGA. Wait Deja Vu.

To get 2 in from the SEC, yes, it would be most likely if Bama were to be the one to lose.
The only way this could not be is if Bama starts having a lot of unnecessarily close games against inferior competition.
But if Bama keeps beating teams 40-7 , mix in a close game against LSU, then I can see the committee choosing Bama over a 12-1 Washginton.

ETA: on e scenario that could keep Bama out is the bluebloods all winning their conferences.
for example, if it's tOSU, USCw, and OU all winning their conferences wit ha 12-1 record, Bama would NOT got in. But, if it's a 12-1 Washington State, TCU, and a Wisconsin, yes Bama gets in over them.

It should be the best four teams based on their body of work. If Bama is 1 and UGA is 2 at the end of the season, why would the loser of the SEC championship game not be more deserving than a team w/ a bad loss to Syracuse or ASU or Iowa State? The SEC is down this year but its not down across the board: Bama and UGA both look very good. No other conference has a better 1/2 punch. In '13, did you want to see Notre Dame get blown out or a rematch of the SEC title game?

Actually I think it would need to be the opposite, with ND winning out and UGA losing a close game in the SECCG. UGA would have a big win over a top 10 potentially top 5 11-1 ND and a close loss to Bama.

ND would be in, leaving three spots in that case.(just the way it is). Bama being the SEC Champ would get one. So that means 3 of the 4 remaining P5 conference champs would need 2 or more losses each, and then UGA would get in. People keep forgetting that the committee will put in one loss conference champs over one loss non conference champs.

Wont happen

Only way was for it to be two teams from the same division but thats scuttled

They will not have teams that JUST PLAYED in a title game just replay

You need last years Ohio State scenario, period and even that was not enough
