Yep. You caught me I'm an Ole Miss fan.

I'm just genuinely curious. I swear I haven't seen a thread by a MSU fan talking about the upcoming season this entire offseason.

You've got a point. But to think we will lose +30 scholarships is dumb. I'd rather be given the death penalty

The "nana-nana boo boo" was just to rustle your feathers, and it obviously worked.

If they even do any of these, they're likely to consolidate them. The NCAA prefers to hand out a blanket punishment rather than add them all up, which essentially means a death penalty in most of the more egregious NCAA investigations. So it's highly unlikely that all of these would be applied individually.

It's the greatest college town in America though! Do you even need scholarships?

"Conservative estimates" my arse. But even if it's a third of that, OM will have very serious issues.

Speaking objectively, though there may be a bit of bias, but if you were to look at it objectively, you would see that my observation is fair.

I have reputable sources that say that there are things going on in Oxford that'll make the Penn State situation look amateurish, you'll be seeing it in the news in the next month or so.

I didn't know 24-36 meant 30+

Your math skills are obviously lacking doc.

With 13 different violations you can't just pull a number out of your arse with out supporting it with facts. The only way you can do it is to break each allegation down, compare it to previous cases, assign a scholarship value, and then total them all up at the end. It's fair, you just won't admit it.

It's not like the NCAA would be like, "hey, they have so many violations that we will make each one only count for 1/2 of what its worth". If anything it would multiply each violation because of the shear volume of the allegations.

When you really look at it, OM had the head coach named in the NOA, 4 assistant coaches, 2 former assistant coaches and 8 boosters. When you add in Barney Farrar and John Miller, who are both in the athletic department and helped Tunsil receive improper benifits it doesn't look good at all.

In Summary:

- 13 allegations total

- 8 level I allegations

- 2 level II allegations(one of which is a failure to monitor, which is a step below lack of institutional control.

- 3 level III allegations

- Hugh Freeze listed in the NOA where he was caught bringing disassociated booster Walter Hughes with him and Assitant Coach Maurice Harris to an in home visit with a recruit.

- 4 current assistant coaches listed in NOA(thats 44% of Freeze's current coaching staff). They all were in contact with disassociated boosters, helping set up improper benefits between boosters and recruits.

- 2 former assistant coaches listed in NOA. They both helped fix ACT scores for 3 different recruits.

- 8 disassociated boosters (SMU had 9)

- Over $15,000 in improper benifits, and don't act like the NCAA thinks that they found all the improper benifits, they know that they could probably multiply that number by 1 or 2 factors of 10.

Possible

Possible 1-4 games

Likely going to be 18 scholarships over 3 years, a 5 year probation, and a 1 year bowl ban.

Struck a nerve. We all know that MSU fans care more about whatever Ole Miss is up to than their own program. It really is one of the saddest things in the SEC.

I wish we could all just get back to supporting our OWN teams and hoping that they win football games. I don't really wish utter demise on any program, so all of the MSU butt-hurt is kind of alien to me.

You left off the most intense punishment. It's the one that freeze and co. will give State this year in Oxford
Oh, and we will get hit with more than we asked for in our response to the NOA, but it won't even compare to what you fools have dreamed up over at elitedawgs. You can either deny that and argue it now or accept it now and not blow your brains out when it comes out. Take it easy, loser
