I agree. 2011 Oklahoma State ranked that high? 83 Auburn team ranked too low.

It was. And the 1980 Georgia Bulldogs (our national champions from that year) had one of the easiest roads of the last 34 years to the national title.

Their schedule looked like this:

@ Tennessee (5-6)
vs. Texas A&M (4-7)
vs. Clemson (6-5)
vs. TCU (1-10)
vs. Ole Miss (3-8)
vs. Vanderbilt (2-9)
@ Kentucky (3-8)
vs. South Carolina (8-4)
vs. Florida (8-4)
@ Auburn (5-6)
vs. Georgia Tech (1-9-1)

3 games against teams with winning records all season. And in those games they won by the scores of 20-16, 13-10 and 26-21 respectively. They had easily the worst schedule of all the SEC teams that have won national titles since 1980 and were easily the weakest of all of those teams, too.

1980 Alabama was the best team in the conference that year and had the tougher schedule.

I think 2005 USC should be top 3 at least, but I guess it's all statistical.

lol at 2008 Oklahoma being ahead of 2011 LSU.

Yes, that Oklahoma team was very good. But please.

And 2011 Oklahoma State is laughable.

2004 Auburn def should be on this list and 2011, but I think 2011 LSU is the best one.

This is, and always will be, a sort of subtle troll against LSU.

2004 Auburn and 2011 LSU should be top 5 easily. 1994 Penn State? That's ridiculous, hell 1994 Alabama was just as good. Where is 2002 Miami?
