Ethan Pocic is a tall center at 6-6, 302 pounds. He's also an excellent one. He's strong, athletic and explosive. Better still, he's a gymrat. Left guard William Clapp is one of the best linemen in the SEC. He's just very solid. Right guard Josh Boutte may be the most physical O-lineman the Tigers have, according to Les Miles. He's a heavy-handed player and is a beast as a pulling guard. Maea Teuhema is a really athletic, fluid tackle at 6-4, 325-pound player who also can play guard and Toby Weathersby is physical sophomore from Texas battling for a spot at tackle along with Chidi Okeke, a nimble 6-6, 310-pound redshirt freshman from Nigeria. Also, remember the name Donovaughan Campbell, a 6-5, 350-pound freshman road-grader at guard that the staff is excited about.

I'm a Homer an lsu fan as anyone, but this is absurdly premature.

Too high. We are vastly overrated going into last season and we did nothing to improve the pass blocking.

We'll see how well that #2 line does against the same D-line that tossed it around like a Caesar salad last year

Yeahhhhh no.

OL is a big question mark for LSU this upcoming season.

LSU and Bama should both have top-notch o-lines (though I can't understand why on earth you would even copy-paste this to SEC Rant and exclude the other SEC team on the list? This isn't Tiger Rant. Are you that insecure?) But when several of the entries -- including LSU and Bama -- use the enthusiasm and approval of the staffs as evidence, you should take any analysis from that site with a huge grain of salt. It's not as though Miles and Saban and other HCs are going around saying, "Oh, our new guy? He kinda sucks but we're out of options at the position." This isn't analysis, it's PR.

So is your line great or is LF7 great? Whenever I see LF7's shortcomings pointed out I always hear that LSU's line got dominated.

Is this the same line that got tossed around like ragdolls vs. Arky and Bama? Isn't that why LF7 couldn't do anything against either team?

That was the excuse for Fournette's struggles, right?

So, no excuses for Leo's 32 yards this year. Book marked.

That seems like a pretty terrible list honestly.

You would have gotten a more accurate list if you had read goat entrails for a good omen.

I think I'll hold off on anointing them the second coming until a few games have been played.

Wait, wait - so it really was LF's fault he didn't play well against Alabama?

I kid, of course, but it seems like all I've read is that you've got the best RB, a top notch QB, and one of the best OLs in college football.

So how did you guys only average 16.5 points in your last 4 regular season games?
