The man took UF to heights I never imagined and did it with class.

Much respect and good luck in OKC. I will cheer for you!!!

UF and the SEC will miss ya.

It is a sad day, but hope nothing but the best for him. A truly great guy and incredible ambassador for UF.

He brought 2 titles. That's more than I would ever ask for to a coach.

He did a hell of a job at Florida though.

In a few years, he may succeed Frank Martin and become the next Head Coach at USC.....

Hate he's leaving.

Really hate he's going to coach the TPOS Thunder.

He's a great coach. I hope he has a lot of success in the NBA. Florida was fortunate to have him for as long as they did.

He has been the only UF coach in my lifetime that I didn't want to inflict pain on.

Did it the right way, much respect.

PS - Glad as hell he is gone

I wonder if Grant is sitting on the bench next to an empty chair with the same lost look on his face as he had the last few years during a Bama game.

Maybe NOW SC will hire Grant since Martin likes him so much.

Leave it to a gump to turn this into a Saban thread. Even though the two instances are nothing a like. LSU fans thanked him immensely when he left for Miami.

Keep flaming.
