Dropped from 16 to 17 with a sweep. It should go back up after the weekend is over.

What sux is that Alabama has lost so many close games. They are better than their record yet our Rpi takes a hit for a sweep. It should be against the law to see an Rpi drop for sweeping any team lol.

They probably realized that Alabama should have actually won the series, if they hadn't choked in 2 games.

Tennessee is the same way. They look to be a much better team than their record shows. I have only watched Bama like 3 times this year and never came away with the impression that they were awful.

Maybe y'all shouldn't have taken 13 innings to put them away and only beat them by 1 run each game

Yep I agree with you on Tennessee also. They are very close as well. This conference is just so brutal that someone had to lose.

Thursday, Alabama was pretty bad. I saw overthrowing first base, misjudged a fly ball, a throw that wasn't even close to the plate. I don't know how much longer State can keep this up. Eventually, get down by a few runs will kill State.

Nice to sit back and watch the carnage all weekend with a 2 game lead.
Auburn has looked good so far but a trip to Starkvegas against a hot bulldog team with likely standing room only will be a big test for them next weekend.

When you think of SEC baseball, you think of LSU, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Florida, and State. I would even put Arkansas in there. People don't think of Auburn.

His comment was in response to a MSU fan who said it sucked that our RPI dropped after sweeping Alabama - to which bowl replied maybe we shouldn't have taken 13 innings to win a game or sweep the series by beating Bama by only one run each game. Everybody, including State fans, have been saying this for a month now. Maybe its time to realize that Cannizaros team isn't gonna fold. They are probably gonna win another SEC championship.

I dont know what you mean by "eventually getting down by a few runs will kill state." If there was ever a team who that did not matter against, its this one.

When a team can rake like MSU, getting down a few runs early is no cause for concern. I wish the top of that msu batting order wore red and blue...~sigh~
