Was at the Ole Miss/Aggie game and would like to shout out to all the Aggie fans out there. Probably the nicest and classiest fans I've encountered for a game. We were sitting away from the Ole Miss section (shite, we were on the other side of the stadium) and all the fans around us were friendly, talkative and while rightfully were very passionate about their team, never went over the top about it, even when they were kicking our asses in the first half. Great experience in College Station and a win to boot.

Just as a side note, for anyone who plans on attending a future game. Ate Friday night at Koppe Bridge Bar and Grill. Nice little locals place for burgers and beer. Loved it. Also, we had no idea where to go prior to the game and used uber to drop us off. Ended up on George Bush and was walking around when we saw a bunch of Aggie fans inside a building that was obviously not a bar, but they were standing at high top tables and had drinks in front of them. We asked a fan what the place was and they said it was a tailgate area and that there were free drinks. I asked if it was for Aggies only and the fan said no. I asked again whether they'd serve Ole Miss fans and he said sure, just go around the corner and there's a bar set up. We ended up drinking for free for about an hour before the game and met some wonderful fans while there. Can't remember the name of the building, but was near the intersection of George Bush and Highlands St., right next to a Chevron gas station.

Lastly, have to say that I wish we had a stadium like Kyle. Announced crowd of just under 105,000 and man, it's loud in there. Definitely get the 12th man impact.

Cheers!

And Ole Miss fans are some of the most gracious and respectful winners. Very much enjoy their fans when they visit.

Nope, not arse kissing. Have had horrible experiences at other stadiums whether we've won or lost. Won't shout out which programs those are, cause that's not what this post was about. Just nice to go to a game and be treated well, especially when you've got family and friends there.

Thanks for reminding me of the tailgate spot we were at. For the life of me (alchohol may have had something to do with it), I couldn't remember and nobody in our group could either.

Sad that you feel that is some sort of insult.
