Met lots of great Florida fans from the last couple of days in College Station this weekend. Very respectful and well educated on football. What a difference from Big12 fans.

I hope you were treated we'll and had a blast.

Glad you met our 3 good fans. Very nice game by the way. If JFF can ever thrown the ball down field you guys will be strong.

not sure if not having played a game and gotten a chance to get his feet wet is the problem or if playing a game might have given you guys tape and allowed you to expose this earlier.

Guess we'll find out over the next few weeks. Long term I'm very optimistic about him bc the arm is there and we saw his improvisation talent. Just not sure how ready he is.

I met and began talking to a few Gators after our game and they were very complimentary of our team and of the atmosphere, etc. And I was blown away when they told us that they were rooting for us and wanted us to succeed this season and that they genuinely meant that. It's crazy how different it is in the SEC than it was in the Big WTF. Looking forward to making a return visit to Gainesville in the future

I watched manziel throw it deep with ease at two scrimmages. Baffling why they did not even attempt deep passes in the game.

Manziel is just a kid. Give him time.

Do NOT expect that from LSU fans. We are coming to destroy you.

He has the arm. That's not the problem. He's a gunslinger and when given free reign he has been a turnover machine. The coaches are trying to harness him.

It was his first collegiate game and they were trying to baby him through it against a fast and pretty good defense. Starting off with 3-4 turnover game may crush his psyche. He did look gunshy at times so for all his swagger, he probably needs to be babied along. And honestly if we get one drive in the 2h, we win even with a very very conservative game plan. I'm less concerned about JFF long term than Michael. I thought he really lacked burst.

I've never liked running out of the shotgun. There's something to be said about a running back taking a handoff with a head of steam instead of from a standing position.

I gotta say, you guys are the most friendly group of fans around. I got no trash talk from the fans while I was walking around cheering for the Gators. Was offered food and drink at most of the tailgates. Very Nice people. You've become my second favorite team in the conference. I even bought a "HOWDY DAMMIT" t-shirt. And IDGAF about being a "t-shirt fan" of y'all. Just shove that crap up your rear.

Not the same. Think of someone wearing a Harvard t-shirt talking shite to Vanderbilt about academics...who failed out of JUCO. THAT is the version of the "t-shirt" fan we're talking about.

All you're doing is adding a secondary team.

I had a great time at the game today and left very happy to have you guys in the SEC. Easily the nicest crowd that I have been around at a game. It was great to see how excited the Aggies are to be a part of the conference. Your enthusiasm just reinforced how great it is to be a part of this conference and experience it every fall.

And yeah, y'all are a little out there, but I also found it to be very refreshing. You can tell how much it means to all of you, and I honestly can't knock that kind of honesty. I may catch hell, but I thought it was great how everyone stays in the stands during half time to cheer the band. I was also more than a little touched when they spelled SEC on the field and the place just went wild.

Obviously, I enjoyed beating you in your house. Coming from behind in a game we weren't really expected to win by a lot of people was huge for us. On the other hand, Johnny Football is legit and impressive. Unless today was a fluke, that guy is going to be terrorizing the west for the next few years. I think teams that don't take you seriously may be in for a surprise.

Thanks for the great time today! Good luck with the rest of your season.

Gainsville is a lot different, a bunch of good fans that know football, but a lot of asses too. That was a fun game to watch though.

From the tv broadcast, looked like a good number turned out from UF for that game, which was great to see.

I've said it on other threads and I'll say it again. I was very happy to host Gator fans. I didn't meet an unpleasant one.

It was weird to see how quiet you guys were leaving the stadium. As if you expected confrontation after winning. Is it safe to assume that most other SEC venues it gets a little heated after a visiting team wins?

Yeah yeah, I know. We'll never know.

Great game Gators. Wished it turned out differently, but I should have just gone and tailgated at half, claiming to win the game.

That will change when they start winning again. UF fans had some serious attitude when Spurrier was mowing down the conference.

your tune will quickly change in Gainesville who are known as having the worst fans in the league. When they come to your place, of course you'll meet the good ones - those who can make that long of a trip are more likely to be grads, have money, and know how to act in public. When you go to their place, you'll meet the sewer-water sidewalk jort fans who couldn't get a job as a janitor at the university.

This is generally true for every SEC school by the way, not at all unique to UF. But there's no shortage of assholes in Gainesville.
