for giving coach pinkel a million dollar a year raise last season, only to have him throw both of you under the bus and side with a handful of players over a race hoax.
coach stinkels loyalty is inspiring.
by the way my dad got the same diagnosis, the first thing he was told is that the disease is rarely fatal and easily treatable, that seems consistent with his decision last may to continue coaching.

Pinkel certainly comes off cowardly. First, he caves to a bunch of race husltlers. Now he seems to be using his "disease" as a shield to any criticism and garner sympathy from the media. Musberger was gushing over Pinkel on Finebaum yesterday. His legacy will be forever tainted as a weak man in a crisis that needed someone with a backbone.

One of my former teachers died of the same disease last year.

my dad's managed it for 7 years he's 84 now.
the doctor's at the mayo clinic told him you'll die with this disease not from it.

was there a cogent thought in there somewhere?

Does your dad still have a job? If so, is your dad a college football coach? Again if so, is there major racial unrest where he coaches? Do you think the doctors would think the stress from the job would be good for his health?

Good for your dad.
I feel sorry that he sired such a worthless frick as you, but at least he's alive.

Good riddance to Loftin, Wolfe, and Pinkel.
We don't need their spineless ilk in the SEC.

Don't know anything about Wolfe but Loftin is an academic that cares about the student. It gets him into trouble with the egghead professors that run (ruin?) institutes of higher education.
The eggheads ran him out of A&M and he was under fire at Mizzou. He was already leaving and I think he picked this time to say adios.
He is going to stay at Mizzou to teach but the students at A&M would love to have him back.
It will not happen as he is not a politician.
He will always be admired for standing up to texas university and the Texas politicians (and dragging the Aggies to the SEC).
Thanks Dr. Loftin.

maybe, but you don't set his "legacy" with others. he may come off as cowardly but why not give him the benefit of the doubt? it appears that there is something of substance to the racial tension at Mizzou. it amazes me that we can't come together on the issue of race in this country. I blame the extremeists; the true redneck (north and south) bigots and the true negro (that's right) agitators and ne'er do wells. the middle class, white and black, are not the problem.

No, he's just another fricking idiot. It is people like him that is what is wrong with this country.

How the hell are we going to do that when our "community organizer" president is nothing but a race baiting community divider! Doing everything possible to create chaos and racial tension mainly among his "entitled" voter base.
