I heard this mentioned the other day on one of the local sports talk shows and figured I would look up the academic rankings. All I can say is some of our schools are damn lucky they have sports, because academics obviously isn't working for them. With the exception of Vandy, none are great and some just plain suck arse. The second number is national rank.

Before this gets outta hand, you can live a high quality of life with degrees from any of these universities in this part of the country (if you didn't have a dumb major).
Nobody outside of this region gives a shite whether you got your degree from MSU or AU (unless it's a strong vs. weak degree program).
