Some goob made a thread asking why Arkansas enjoyed their thorough beating of Texas so much last year. This might help you understand. Nobody in this conference sans aTm has a better understanding of the depths of texas' egotistical ways. They wrote the book on delusion

Dude, you're Arkansas. Our most important sports teams are in the crap tank. Other than that, Texas is better than Arkansas in every conceivable way. You just need to come to terms with this.

To be honest the "Borderline Erotic" ratcheted Arkansas right up on there for the Horns.
If Urban Meyer had said beating Bama was better then beating off... well we'd have a whole board full of Bama posters going bonkers.

I didn't forget Missouri at all. I don't think even Missouri realizes this as completely. They didn't have the pleasure of being a Texas rival, although they do know much about the greed of Texas from being a fellow conference member

Whenever they get ready. I seem to remember 2021 or 2022. I think I speak for most Hog fans when I say it doesn't matter. I think our team would play them next week if it was possible

Possibly, but if you are a bowl director and you get the option of Arkansas/Texas or Texas/Texas A&M then you would jump on it with both feet.
Either game would sell out. For something like the Texas Bowl that is mana from heaven. Even an off year Cotton Bowl would take those matchups in a heartbeat... and then have to excuse themselves for a day until the money boner went down.
