“As great a job as our assistant coaches did this year, as well as we’re recruiting – the reality is, we’re still third in our own division behind LSU and Alabama.”

Texas A&M's reality: The only team in the SEC who hasn't lost to a team outside the final top 15 since joining the conference.
In fact, the only other team who can claim that since 2012 is Alabama.

Basically, Sumlin is saying the Big Twatever is in the rear view mirror and he's focused on playing in the toughest division in the land.

Seriously, I am an LSU fan. I am not proud of some of my brethren. I have been around this site for a few years and believe most of the LSU fans that post here are not aware of how stupid they sound and how embarrassing they are to other LSU fans who know when to shut up. Unfortunately, I would have to say that I belong to the most "insecure" fanbase there is. If that passion could somehow...be channelled...I dont know.

Aggies have been saying that for 40 years. A&M was a mediocre program, with occasional success, in the SWC and Big12; it will be a mediocre program, with occasional success, in the SEC.

Why are u a troll? Thats petty my friend.
Sumlin made a similar statement last year. He is just trying not to allow anyone to get complacent on his staff. He understands, that as well as theyve done, which is pretty remarkable btw, theres's still work to do.
Sometimes, u must tip your hat to another coach or program and admit they are a force to be reckoned with.
