Pendergast as DC + Orgeron as DL coach > Chavis + Haley

Pendergast has had nasty defenses at USC and Orgeron is a great recruiter with Louisiana roots.

Would be a very good hire.

Doesn't have half the resume that Chavis does, though. Your attempt to portray yourself as better off with him is very transparent.

You still aren't going to win anything next year. Kwon Aleander is already gone and he is just probably the first of many to leave

It is an upgrade for LSU. Change was needed and this would be a huge hire for LSU. Didn't plan to lose CHief, but also didn't want to match a ridiculous offer.

This would be a win/win and be great for LSU coming out on this!!!

He was employed by USC for all of ten months.

Yes he had a good year, but he has spent nearly his entire career at NFL level.

He is still unemployed for a reason. Congrats on going after a DC that no one else wants.

So you're hiring an un-employed DC? Nobody else wanted to give him a job.

He is a good hire. I always wanted the Ags to go after him. I think Chavis is better but it's splitting hairs. It should make for a good rivalry.

Still have Cam Cameron and Les Miles on the sidelines, correct?

The same two coaches that had Jeremy Hill, Beckham, and Mett???

Yeah, it wasn't all the defense there.

The 2008 Cardinals were 21st in total defense, 28th in scoring defense and he was fired one week after the Superbowl.

Oops
