A couple of funny posts I have read over the last few days on other sites by Texas fans:
"Not sure how anyone can claim we made any progress whatsoever... Unless you compare against the 59 total yards we had against a last place SEC team. I guess we judge progress differently here now"

I really have no idea if TCU and Baylor are as good as the polls indicate. But, I'd love to play them to find out.

Meh. While they are wading out in the wilderness, half way through their decade of mediocrity, playing them would only give them a boost in profile. For the moment, I'd rather play Baylor or TCU in a bowl game.
