For a lot of schools, this would be a problem, but for a school that consistently wins conference and national titles in football like A&M, fans don't mind paying a great deal to witness excellence.

I was "reseated" also. Not really happy with where my new seats are, but I believe in free enterprise. And we were all told at the start of the progress that the entire stadium needed to be reseated.

My biggest concern was that the students not be screwed around and they weren't.

The seats the people are suing over don't exist anymore. Those who are unhappy need to nut up and either increase their donations or shut up and continue to support the program.

Strong horns sold 45,000 season tickets this year.

Aggies sold 102,500 season tickets and have people in the waiting list upping their donation to be first in line.

I'll be sure to tell my grandfather, class of '53 and a muster speaker, that he is scum the next time I see him. How dare he expect them to honor an agreement they made on paper twenty years ago.

Don't condone talking bad about other Aggies either. The people who had those seats were offered their entire sum of money back which amounts to many years of free tickets.

Yes, this is an unfortunate situation. I would like my old seats back also. But I would never bring a suit against the University over football tickets.

A good argument can be made that they are honoring it. If he disagrees, he's free to take back EVERY LAST DOLLAR OF HIS "DONATION" and make is such that he enjoyed FREE SEATS FOR TWENTY YEARS. If he still doesn't think he's being treated fairly, then he's a moron.

I like you, Whisker, but you're very, very wrong on this.

I'm not really trying to argue with y'all, and my grandfather got fair treatment in the end. I'm just trying to tell y'all that some of the people that were reseated had valid arguments that the university should have put more thought into.

I'm not claiming that everything was handled perfectly. I am claiming that the jackasses who have sued are scum and ought to be run out of town on a rail. I do believe that. (Figuratively, of course!)

Nothing I hate more that Aggie in-fighting. I don't lightly ridicule those who sued.

(And I'm very glad to hear that your Grandad got fair treatment in the end.)

Yeah the people that sued aren't my favorite either. There was a better way that both sides could and should have handled this as Aggies.

Auburn is basically going to do the same thing when all of the North Endzone is made into premium seating. Business is business. At least we're getting plenty of advanced warning to look for other seats.

We can (and do) hate him for a lot of things, but I don't tihnk this is one. His tenure can't be over soon enough.

Nah.
This has nothing to do with him.
It's a Twelfth Man Foundation project.
