Prattville has sucked for a few years. Hell the lost to Wetumpka in week 1 and barely beat Stanhope last night.

What do you mean sir? That definitely seems like the same hoover that got drilled by a 2a john curtis team in Birmingham a while ago. That was back when they had their own tv show on mtv and all that bs. Lol that was some funny shite. Everyone in louisiana who follows high school sports knows about curtis football and knew that was going to happen. The hoover crowd was pumped up when curtis spotted them 14 points...however, curtis adjusted and ended the game with 28 unanswered points. The hoover crowd was shocked but nobody in louisiana was bc they expected it. Hoover would be a good team here but wouldn't be a great team much less be a dynasty in louisiana in 5a ball. shite they wouldn't even win 2,3, or 4a ball against the private schools that recruit here. Alabama high school ball is good but isn't like louisiana top to bottom much less texas. Oh yeah, joe mcknight is still running.

A paragraph of shite talking from a high school game tens years ago.

Meh....Hoover was never as good as they thought they were. They are about the same now. They are just getting beat more because they are playing better out of state schools and the high school football in this state has gotten a lot better. Lot's of big coaching hires lately.

James Clemens is probably the best high school team in the state of Alabama this year anyway. May have as a many as five Alabama signees.

Gardendale beat them by 13 last night. JC is not even in the discussion.

Allen should win almost every game they play b/c they damn near have 5k kids at that school.

And that is just 10-12, they have another 1700 in 9th grade at a separate school. That 9th grade school would be top 10 in LA for enrollment. It's crazy how big these Texas schools are.

This is laughable. You are saying Huntsville and Montgomery area teams have eclipsed the Bham metro area because that is where you can think of the most 4 and 5 star kids coming from? There is a lot more to a team than the Rivals rating of their biggest star.

Birmingham and Mobile dominate AL football. Prattville has its moments but it can't hold up the whole Montgomery area on its own.

In birmingham they aren't even the top team anymore. Leeds has taken that mantle.

Are you crazy? Leeds has 500 students and Hoover has 3,000.

Huntsville will also be the largest city by 2030.

You do understand the difference between city population and metro right? Bham city is 200k. Bham metro is 1.2 million. Huntsville is nowhere close.

Prattville has been awful for a couple of years now. Like multiple losing records bad.
. You do not know what you are talking about. Prattville has not had a losing record since 1998 and last played in the state 7A championship game in 2014. They may not have the same string of playoff runs as they did with Bill Clark or Jamie Dobose but they will be back.

If and when Auburn needs a new coach I hope we throw the kitchen sink at Clark. Guy is a fantastic coach.

And Prattville desperately needs a new coach. We lost 2 total games when I was a student. Losing to Wetumpka should never happen.

. Their issue this year is turnovers and defense. There was no excuse for that fumble with less than 2 minutes to go last night and letting Stanhope move down the field. Turnovers and defense killed them during the Wetumpka game. I would at last like to see a change at DC.
