Tennessee sprinter Christian Coleman won two conference championships in one hour on Saturday afternoon at the 2017 SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The junior from Atlanta had his left shoe come untied during the 100-meter final that he won with a time of 9.97 seconds on the University of South Carolina track.
Coleman won the 200-meter final an hour later with a time of 19.98 seconds.
According to a tweet from UT's track and field team, Coleman's 100-meter time is the world's fourth-fastest in 2017.
Coleman is considered an early favorite for both events in the NCAA championships, which are scheduled for June 7-10 at the University of Oregon.
