Tennessee spring game

I didnt see a thread on this, likely bc noone give a rats arse. I watched a few minutes of this on tv last night. Any UT fans care to comment on the spring game, posi neg etc..?

Looked like a team installing a new offense. Bray looked better than Simms, but you can't throw Bray out there behind an inexperienced line. The defensive lines look good. Bray targeted Milton a lot which is good, but Milton has to develop his hands a bit more after never playing WR in high school.

The defense in general looked good, but I think most of that was the offense is not clicking yet. Except for the D-Line, where if depth wasn't a concern, would be very strong. The hype seems to be right with Montori Hughes. Both QBs need to be faster with their decision making, though, I didn't notice the WRs getting much separation.

From what I gathered...Tyler Bray is going to be an All SEC QB, before he graduates.

You guys are going to like Dooley. He's a good coach imo. Doesnt have the 'bling' factor of some high profile guy but he will make a name for himself at UT.

Basically, TN needs a QB, RB, OL, WR, DL, LB, Seconday, K, and P. Other than that, they're set.
In all seriousness though, OL and DT are definitely weak spots. Everything else seems like it "could" be alright if Bray and/or Simms progress enough in the offseason and no one else gets arrested.

Our secondary is shaping up nice and we have plenty of depth at LB. The D-line is very good but very thin. The RBs look good with Poole and Oku. The O-line is what it is, five new guess with little to no experience. The WRs are probably or brightest area. Bray played really well. If the season started now, I would go with Bray. Simms forced a lot of bad passes and stayed in the pocket way too long.

Starting DT's are as good as any, the problem is the depth. Honestly, I think the O line will be about the same as last year.

I was really really pleasantly surprised with Bray, He can sling the ball all over the field. He was making big time throws left and right, and is basically a senior in Highschool. Without Stevens, Bray probably won't be able to red shirt, and from what I saw in the Spring game I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he's the starting QB come fall. Dooley said he is 6'6 210 in bare feet with no pads on and they expect him to add another 15 to 25 lb's this summer.
Scout has an article out about how our QB situation is the best it's been since Ainge was on campus.
Bray is the real deal folks. I now know why he finished number one at this past years Elite 11 camp.
