Tennessee Needs Signature Win Before Claiming They're "Back"

What has Tennessee football done over the past decade to make anyone feel certain they'll be a significant factor in the SEC?

An SECCG appearance? A New Year's Day Bowl? A relevant Top 10 win? They got a bowl win and lost a bunch of close games? Big whoop!

Where exactly is Tennessee coming back from and why should we care they've arrived?

Your thread title makes zero sense. UT used to be good. They've sucked since '04. That's where they're back from.

Except they're not back.

I agree. We aren't back.

9-4 is nothing.

You'll see us back soon.

And you won't like it.

At least they are progressing. You guys were picked to win the SEC 2 years in a row and have failed miserably every time.

So you copy and pasted your response from another thread and made it a completely different thread? do less.

The thought of Butch Jones bringing anything back is comical to me.

They aren't back from living in your head. They obviously still live up there.

I don't know if this was a signature win, but we beat UGA at home this year. That can't have been that difficult though, I'm sure almighty Auburn with their Heisman winner Jeremy Johnson at QB did the same with ease.

Personally I would've gone with "What exactly is "Tennessee Back" from?
