Tennessee is either really bad or bait and switching Georgia

I watched a lot of the UMass game live and there is just no way to me that Tennessee is that damn bad. If they are, they might not win more than 2 SEC games.

Considering it's likely Butch's last stand, I expect a lot of what I saw against 2015 Florida with the trick plays and the like. This game might be the hardest Tennessee plays for the rest of this season.

There were injured players who went to the lake instead of watching the game.

The young players hate the upperclassmen and think they are soft.

Our best DT caught a right from Nigel Warrior and probably won't play Saturday.

QB situation is a mess.

Fans have abandoned ship and will be selling their tickets to DAWGS

We are done, it's over (under Lyle).

If Kirby Smart somehow loses this game then he should be left at McGhee Tyson.

Either that or the players have already quit on Butch Jones.

I'm going with the latter.

Which is why if they lose, this season is going to hell.

I started a similar thread on the UGA board...no one is as bad as the Vols showed in that game.

Has to be a bait and switch...basically gonna be playing the 85 Bears when we step inside Neyland on Saturday.

Dormady is very good, IMO. Needs some experience, but he has all the tools and seems to see the field, at least against the defenses he's faced so far. If Georgia doesn't get good pressure, I could see him carving up our defense.

His mechanics are terrible and he has no sense of when to stay in the pocket or when to scramble. He could be a decent little QB if he had spent any of his time at UT with a real QB coach and not 8 months with Utah States RB coach.

He also is incapable of hitting a receiver in stride, almost every throw either sails on him or is behind the receiver. After watching UGAs DBs blanket MSUs receivers, I don't think it will be pretty whatsoever.

You're my boy. Been saying he isnt half as bad as the VOLS fan base is making him out to be. He has a lot of minor things to clean up, though.

He has the tools to be very good but we might not see it with this coaching staff. Running the zone read with a pocket passing QB. Butch would legitimately run the option with Peyton Manning. So, so dumb.

I'll be surprise if Tennessee carves up Georgia. Poor receiver play, shaky oline, no TEs( injuries), and a poorly designed running game.

Very telling. Not sure Canales knows what he is doing either. Stealing a guy from North Texas doesn't make me feel confident.

Tennessee is probably the first team Georgia will face that has a downfield threat...even if a bad one...that sad thing is and I didnt think so beforehand is the best passing quarterback Georgia faces all year might well be FCS Devlin Hodges.

Single digit posts, but posting in complete sentences...and actually a pretty solid post. Not an alter to any posters I can think of...

The St. Brown kid at ND is pretty good.

I expect Tennessee to play well. The Georgia game is one which Tennessee is always ready to play. I expect nothing different on Saturday. If Kelly can have success running the ball, then the passing game will be more effective. No doubt the Vols will be fired up. I hope Georgia can withstand the early emotion and play good solid football. This will not be an easy game at all.
