A storied program like Tennessee hasn't finished above .500 in 7 seasons, in the obviously "weak" SEC east, it's quite remarkable.

Point of thread, who would have thought, Tennessee would be an SEC East bottom feeder for the better part of a decade.

Hell, if you had said this in the 90s/early 00s people would think you were crazy. But it happened. Luckily it looks to be coming to a close very soon.

Yeah, it doesn't have anything to do with all our returning starters, solid QB that most in the SEC don't have at this point, solid defense with a good mix of talent and experience, much needed stability and continuity for the first time in a few years, or momentum towards the end of last season. only recruiting

If our worst stretch in our entire history is a string of 7 loss seasons, well then I'm okay with it. All teams have down periods, and most have lower lows than ours. For example, 0 win seasons and things like that
