Article is 2.5 years old. Documented groups have spiked from 72 in 2014 to 190 in 2015. Source reflects more current information drilling into KKK specifically.

The strangest part is that 12 of the chapters in Tennessee are headquartered in Butch Jones' office.

I don't think half of them are active. I've looked at their maps before but I honestly know a couple of the areas in the East they name and I can't find anything there - not that there wouldn't be just that the population is too small and there's nothing active there. In Knoxville, they list more than one and I'm just not sure that's accurate unless you count the motorcycle clubs that have racist elements.
