Tenn is going to finish 7-5 this year. It's a rebuilding year. Is that really that bad?

I don't think that is grounds for a firing.

This team could very easily finish 4-8 if Currie actually lets Butch finish the season out

7-5 with wins over who? It boils down to wins that are worth a damn. Havent had one of those in a while.

UA: 0-5
UF: 1-4
UGA: 2-3
Vandy: 2-2
USC: 3-2
Rotating West opponent: 0-4

^^^that right there is why he needs to go

You wanted to fire Harbaugh after he lost to Utah in his very first game.

It would be okay if Butch wouldn't of flopped with his "all-star" team the year before.

Tenn's remaining schedule

Alabama (H) - L
Kentucky (A) - L
Southern Miss (H) - W
Missouri (A) - W
LSU (H) - L
Vanderbilt (H) - W

Don't really see 7 wins. Maybe Tennessee beats Vandy at home, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tenn goes to Missouri and fricks up

For UT, yes. Michigan won't do much better than that and they have Harbaugh.

How many years under a head coach before it's no longer "rebuilding"?

With only 2 more possible wins, they will likely be coachless IMO.

I'm not so sure TN beats USM. Except for the North Texas game, they've played pretty decent, and only lost to Kentucky by 7.

I also think Vandy continues its dominance over TN.

The S&P+ rankings does have UTk losing the USM game
