That's the best thing I've ever seen you post. How can I hate you after that?

He's a great guy... what i can't stand are the Tebow fanboys that claim he wasn't given a chance because he was outspoken about his faith and that he was "persecuted" That is Flat out ridiculous. He's pretty good on TV. much better than some.

Upvote to all the favorable posts towards Tebow. A rock solid Christian who puts his faith into action, which is exactly what Jesus expects. Nothing but respect for the man.

Tebow showing his true colorsI get folks rooting for him to fail when he plays for a rival team, but it is hard for me to fathom how people hate on this guy personally.

I will put it this way: if more of our citizens were like Tim Tebow, the U.S. would be a hellava lot better place in which to live.

But do you really think he's secretly a guy doing all of these things solely for attention and to advance himself? Or that deep down he doesn't actually believe, act or live out the things he talks about?

Like, serious question, what is your impression of him? What do you think his true motives and thoughts are?

I have no doubt that Tebow is a true believer in a religious sense and I also have no doubt he wants to show you while making sure you are watching. He shoves his religion down your throat (i.e. the "prayer circle" he started on the set of SEC Network). I dont want to join your prayer circle. My religion is private and between me and my creator, as the Bible said it should be so dont ask me to pray with you and the Tebowing etc. I think Tebow relishes the attention. He craves it. Then there is the "he just wants to compete" crap. He turned down the CFL which would have given him a chance at another shot at the NFL so he could get the spotlight playing baseball. He knew he would be in obscurity in Canada and would rather get attention playing minor league baseball.

ALL THAT BEING SAID, he isnt a horrible human being like Aaron Hernandez and does more good than harm but I just think he is a phony.

Back in 08 Tim was easy for me to hate. I thought he was a fake and total douche. Since then I got to work with one of his charities on some medical equipment and really got to see how much he genuinely cares and wants to give to others that need it. He's a truly great human being I can assure you. It's a complete shame how he was treated in the NFL. I think he could have been an average NFL QB if the media wouldn't have constantly pushed a negative image of him like they did.

I feel the same way. I know he's having trouble with it being a huge Christian like he is, but I think it would do him some good. I don't dislike Tebow at all, I just believe he is homosexual and I feel bad for him because he just doesn't know how to handle it.

Man ain't that the truth. I could start with myself, too. He is inspiring in that way. He chooses his missions wisely, too. So many people in tgis country today have been enabled into "victim status", which I have a difficult time with, but Tebow really focuses on helping those who cannot help themselves. It's a gift. He's quite a guy. If I were a UF grad he would be my all-time favorite player simply because if what he stands for.

Fair criticism. How about, he isn't a horrible human being like Greg Hardy?
