By 1990 Cotton bowl, did you mean 1991? The 1990 Cotton bowl was Tennessee beating Arkansas, 31-27.

Coach Fulmer's worst season was 5-7. Tennessee has not failed to win at least 4 games in a season in almost 100 years.

Johnny Majors was 4-7 one year.

Well the picture posted on page 2 says he was class of 79 in high school. that puts him in mid-late 50s.
