With the SECW now decided after last week I figured we'd take a look at where everyone else is projected to finish.

SEC WEST
1. Alabama 11.6-0.4 (7.7-0.3), 65.1% to go 12-0
2. Texas A&M 10.1-1.9 (6.2-1.8), 41.7% to go 10-2
3. Auburn 8.5-3.5 (5.5-2.5), 42.3% to go 9-3
4. LSU 7.2-3.8 (5.2-2.8), 40.0% to go 7-4
5. Ole Miss 6.3-5.7 (3.3-4.7), 37.8% to go 6-6
6. Arkansas 6.3-5.7 (2.3-5.7), 37.0% to go 6-6
7. Miss State 3.9-8.1 (1.9-6.1), 47.7% to go 4-8

LSU ain't losing to A&M or UF.

Arkie will be tough because we're their SB.

Bama is the key game.

LSU is still alive in the west. All they have to do is beat Alabama and hope Auburn drops one more. Auburn wins out and they win the west

Auburn needs A&M to drop one

And beat UF, A&M and Arkansas

Ole miss -win 57.6%
Vandy - win 95.9%
Al state- win 99.5%
UGA- win 80.8%
Bama - loss 11.9% (win)

So 9-3 sounds about right.

If this is all that happens, then Alabama wins the west.

Each has 1 loss in the West, plus A&M.

Each is 1-1 vs the other two.

It will get to G:

quote:

G. Changed: Combined SEC record of the team’s cross-divisional opponents

Alabama had Tennessee and Kentucky
Auburn has Vanderbilt and Georgia
Texas A&M had Tennessee and South Carolina

Once G has eliminated one of those teams then the two-way tie breaker comes into play.

None of the tiebreakers involve rankings (any more) or records against OOC foes.

That's only if the current standings stay in their current trends.

Alabama's East foes combined SEC record:
5-4 (both have already played Alabama)
Auburn's:
3-6 (and would have to lose two for AU to stay in)
Texas A&M:
3-6 (both have already played A&M)

That is likely going to end up in favor of A&M, but if both records end up the same then (though I don't think there's a scenario where AU's foes can get enough wins AND not beat AU as part of those), then it rolls back to AU vs A&M H2H - where A&M won that.

Then it is down to two teams, where Alabama wins the H2H vs A&M.

Three teams have the "division" title, but Alabama plays in the SECCG.

Or A&M could drop one and Auburn does win the tiebreaker.

True, but AU could lose to UGA, and then...

and then...

HAHAHAHAHA...

Sorry, couldn't finish that and stay serious.

9-3 sounds right, but FPI is different.
Ole miss -win 57.3%
Vandy - win 93.3%
UGA- win 81.8%
AL-AM- win 100%
Bama - loss 22.4%

Funny how certain fanbases get so upset when actual data is presented to them

It's not that ya'll get upset, it's that y'all get all goofy and giggly when presented with facts, data and actual losses.
