The the early to mid 2000 Hawaii and Texas Tech teams or Bama. I often debate this in my head when doing shots of Korean soju for whatever reason. That Brennan qb looked Asian...I think that's a factor.

Hawaii under June Jones and Texas Tech under Mike Leach, yes. Both were air raid type systems, although both out at least one notable player in the league...Michael Crabtree and Devone Bess.

Nobody wanted to draft a quarterback from either team. Whether it be Timmy Chang, Colt Brennan, Graham Harrell, BJ Simmons or so forth, none had success in the NFL. Lit it up in college, though.

Definitely Bama. They've never produced a WR on the level of Crabtree. And Colt Brennan's hair had the most sweg of all time

Um... Julio Jones and even Amari Cooper are both better receivers than Crabtree.

Don't mind him. He's still under the impression that Darvin Adams is more talented than Julio and will come and replace him in Atlanta.

Arkansas in the petrino years. Tyler Wilson was at once projected a high first. Drafted in the 4th. Didn't make opening day roster. Cobi Hamilton Joe Adams dj Williams Ryan mallet if we're being honest

The only non bust is knile Davis and jarius wright. Books still out on Travis swanson

Instead of a shot of soju I'm thinking you should try a shot of 12 gauge.

I don't know why ppl get all wrapped up in these system debates, most of the teams that run them do so out of necessity because they cant land the 5 star talent at the skill positions to compete with the better teams. So why it is that ppl wonder why these players fail at the next level is beyond me.

I guess we should also throw in any UF qb into the mix, especially those 90s Spurrier teams.

In the SEC, it would have to be Bama RBs and UF qbs.

Not at all.June Jones runs the run and shoot and can be traced back to Mouse Davis at Portland State,Houston Gamblers and Oilers.Mike Leach runs the old BYU offense
(with some adjustments). While both are passing offenses with 4 recievers at times they aren't close when it comes to QB and WR reads.Run and Shoot is far more complex and harder to learn.Lavell Edwards designed his offense so a QB could learn it his "first week of summer practice".

Yes, they claim the Air Raid Offense can be learned in 3 days. Look up some of the practice footage, it is pretty impressive how they do their reps. All 4-5 Qbs in a row, throwing to each wr on every play. No route is wasted. Come game day, they can throw Mesh,Sail and Cross in their sleep.
