Hate to break this to you but at this point everyone views y'all as the smartest kid on the retard bus. You're going to be disappointed if you think y'all are some badass SEC power now that Tennessee is serviceable, Florida is coming back up, and Georgia looks good.

You understand that Mizzou's signature win last year was vs. a grossly overrated Arkansas team that lost every game they played in the SEC other than a deflated LSU team coming off an alabama loss and an Ole Miss team that just lost their best player, right? Y'all had your chance to be taken seriously and got beaten down 13-42 in the SECCG, Mizzou fans are starting to have a serious case of Arkansas syndrome where you're overinflating your accomplishments and ignoring your failures

Right...DL at Mizzou. Where talent goes to die

I don't think he realizes what he typed. I'm confused by his statement. Mizzou's DL performs, not wasted talent.

? You act like we're a constant middle of the pack team. We've been to 3 national championships in 12 years so I'm sure we'll be fine, worry about your own crappy program and know your place champ

Well you were before Nick Saban arrived.

And the LSU I see now seems poised to return that status with Arkansas and A&M on the rise to go along with Auburn and Bama.

There's no shame in being a program that jumps up to surprise once in while. As you say, you'll be fine.

No one is implying they are some "badass SEC power".I don't see where that is coming from.Merely looking forward to a rare 5 star DL play under a respected DL line coach now that he qualified.

Since you decided to use ESPN, look at the only player ranked ahead of him ;)

Thanks. Not to mention he's ranked higher on all the sites that are actually worth a crap.

Listen pal, you don't have to break nothing down for me. I know exactly where Mizzou stands in the SEC and none of us claimed we were some SEC power. I'm also more familiar with our football past, the good and bad, and clearly more objective than you when it comes to our potential.

You overrate your own program more than anyone here underrates ours. I know this is an LSU run site, and therefore more LSU fans here, but a good portion of said fanbase are insufferable douches.

And since then we've built some of the best facilities in the country, won two national championships and three SEC championships and solidified ourselves as a national power, and been one of the top 3 most talent rich teams in the country along with USC and Alabama in that span. Our program is completely different now than it was in 1998

Interesting perspective. It's cool that the narrative around here is that LSU sucks because we had one sub-10 win season (which FYI is is only our 4th in the last 15 years, and Mizzouri's had 10 during that same span)

So I'll ask this question: other than their delusional fans claiming the offseason championship on the SEC rant, what have Arkansas and A&M done to show that they'll knock LSU off the top of the food chain in upcoming years? Neither of them are even in the same ballpark as LSU in recruiting, Arkansas has won literally 2 games in the SEC in two years, and A&M isn't or is barely ranked in most preseason top 25's in Sumlin's 4th (?) year. No programs go from shitty recruiting and on field performance to a consistent national power unless they change coaches, it just doesn't happen and it won't happen unless Bielema or Sumlin are fired.

I'll also point out that the last time LSU had 8 wins, we went 10-3 and 13-1 in the next two seasons. But I forgot, some dumbass Mizzou fan on the SECr doesn't like "what he's seen" when he probably didn't watch a single LSU game last year. Harris is going to break out this year and LSU will be a playoff contender while ya'll are going to suck wind now that the east has real teams again.

Wow, pot meet kettle. One team has 100 wins in 10 years, another had a flash in the pan in 2007 (thanks for choking so we could go on to win the Natty btw) and a meaningless east title last year while taking home zero hardware. Who's the surprise again?

2 national championships, 3 national championship visits, 3 SEC championships, consistent top 5 recruiting classes, top 10 most wins in the BCS era, and the best stadium atmosphere in college football. How exactly are we overrated again? Anyone other than Bama and Auburn would be lying if they said they wouldn't kill to be in our position for the last 15 years. And other than a bunch of morons screaming "yall are gonna suck next year!!!!!1111!!!" there's no reason to think that the success won't continue. Congrats on the potential though man, maybe mizzou will do something more than get their asses whipped the SECCG one day

While once again puffing your chest out, you didn't even bother to ask "what is Mizzou's potential in your opinion"? That's the problem with alot of the Rant, including you obviously. You're too busy bragging about shite and not willing to discuss with an open mind about other SEC programs. Once again, the traits of a true douche bag.

It's all about trends. Y'inz were a middle tier program before Nick - had your nice run with what he built - and are now easing back to what you were like a middle aged woman into a tub of bath salts. Oh she can still raise her game from time to time, but her best days are probably behind her. The competition's a little younger and a little sexier.

As I said, there's no shame in being the hot older woman that can still pillow the young stud once in a blue moon. It just won't happen regularly in the future.
