# 4 for Western Kentucky being kicked out of the game is total bull shite.

Too bad he doesn't play for Bama

What should it be in?

Agree I have already lost interest in the NFL for too many rules and bogus personal fouls. Praying the NCAA does not do the same but bullshite like that makes me wonder.

I agree, they need to use some common sense on some of these calls. It's ridiculous

If it was a Bama player doing the targeting he wouldn't have even been called for a penalty.
We have seen that on multiple occasions this year.

Cool the more downvotes I get means you guys realize what I am saying is true.
Tough if you don't like it.

Stay on topic and quit deflecting.
We know all of the above. SO quit trying to look like a hero and comment on the topic or move along.

There should be two levels of targeting if it's going to exist. If you don't launch head first, it shouldn't be an ejection but could still be a penalty.

Totally agree and so does D Howard.

I am of the opinion that most of these targeting calls should be a personal foul, 15 yard penalty. Nothing more, nothing less. The only real targeting that should warrant an ejection is on punt returns when the gunner destroys the guy about to catch the ball (see Arkansas thug at Vandy a few years ago).

Your most on-topic post was transparently manufactured to be so, and barely tangentially so, in order to get in one more little complaint about daddy bama. So, again, you telling me to stay on topic is ironic.
But by all means, please continue.

I agree. It was a very questionable borderline call.
It looked like the receiver drooped down some just before he got hit and that the tackler did not appear to launch, lead with the crown (top) of his helmet or target the head/neck area, but could not prevent it from being a helmet-to-helmet hit.
I think perhaps they upheld the targeting call because the receiver didn't see the hit coming and was therefore deemed defenseless.
