You South Carolina fans are obsessed with me. It's ok. Just admit it and move on.

On the bright side...if Holbrook gets USCe into the NCAA tournament the next 11 times in a row they will have the same participation %!!!

It had little to do with that and everything to do with losing 8 SEC series in a row and a garbage record vs the RPI top 50.

Holbrook has now missed it twice in 5 years.

What a fricking joke of a coach.

Do you guys want Sully?

At least you'd make the tournament every year and be a national seed.

(And then choke in Omaha )

South Carolina loves hand me down coaches from Florida. They would take Sully in a heart beat if we got rid of him.

Sully being a protege of Jack Leggett, perhaps the biggest horse's arse to ever coach a sport at Clemson, would not endear him to the Gamecock fans.

LULZ ... you're such a little peen dick. I'm fairly sure some Gamecocks had their way with your mother in your presence at some point in your life.

I think you missing the main factor affecting SC. The rise of Clemson. With Clemson taking over as the athletic powerhouse in South Carolina you should really lower your expectations of your athletic programs. Clemson is a great school and has a beautiful campus, and the fact is that SC just can not recruit against them. It started in football, moved to baseball, and next it will be basketball. The best thing SC can do is to follow Texas A&M's lead and stop playing your big brother rival.

What planet are you living on? As far as baseball, Clemson has never beaten South Carolina in the postseason in my lifetime. We swept them in Omaha in 2002 and 2010 and beat them in the Columbia regional in 2012. We have 2 CWS titles and they have zero.

As far as basketball, we have dominated the all-time series in men's and women's basketball, and we just went to a Final Four in men's basketball and won the National Championship in women's basketball.

They have dominated us historically in football, that I agree with. However, Spurrier proved that South Carolina has the ability to consistently beat Clemson, as we did it 5 years in a row from 2009-2013.

This is a dumb post. Clemson has out recruited SC ONCE in the last 6-7 cycles (2011 is the last Perfect Game has on their site. In fact, most years it isn't really even close. The fact that we aren't getting results despite continuing to get top talent is the reason for the frustration with Holbrook.

There have been some really, really bad posts regarding South Carolina athletics on this board in the past few days. I guess there is just a general ignorance from many of you when it comes to South Carolina, which is fine. However, the post that I have quoted is one of the worst.

The Rise of Clemson

Football
2013 SC (Edited)
2014 Clemson
2015 Clemson
2016 Clemson

Baseball (Series Win)
14-15 Clemson
15-16 Clemson
16-17 Clemson

Basketball
2013 Clemson
2014 SC
2015 SC
2016 Clemson

How can you really not see the trend? I mean did you really not expect this to happen? Clemson has mountains and waterfalls. South Carolina has pawn shops and crack houses. (Oh, and LivePD)
