The point is, you can't just dismiss the 58-10 arse whipping just because you didn't like the head coach your administration picked.

This is a valid point. More to the stupidity that is Arkansas. They hired, as a flagship, a candidate that would have been turned down by almost any D1 school.

You had a bad coach which was your own faul. We had to pay for our sins of Fran and Sherman.

JLS took a consensus preseason top-10 team with 2 Heisman-contenders, one of the best WRs in the conference, and an intact coaching staff and led us to a 4-8 record.

Sherman took a consensus preseason top 10 team (favored in all but one game), with the best WR in school history (then), a QB who'd go on to be a top ten pick, a RB who'd get drafted, 2 future First Team All-Americans on the OL, and an intact coaching staff and led us to a 6-6 record.

Sherman >>>>>> JLS

So no.

Winning back-to-back-to-back national championships in both men's and women's track and field seems pretty hard accomplish.

Think that is hard? Imagine winning back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back national championships in men's outdoor track

or how about back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back national championships in men's indoor track

or how about I'll make it even easier and just challenge you to back-to-back-to-back-back national championships in men's cross country.

Which is the same as me saying you can't dismiss that the first time you've beaten us in 20 years came when we didn't have a coach, and that that doesn't magically make your program better than ours.

6-6 > 4-8
You were also leading in most, if not all of those games. We just got flat-out decimated in most.

Sherman >>>>>> JLS

So unequivocally yes.

your team and school is garbage

learn to have some dignity and humility when you join a conference so much above your school

You forgot to mention you lost to LSU's women, home of 25 national team titles, 24 SEC champs, 110+ national champs, etc.

Nah, you're not the class of the SEC in either men or women's track. Elite? absolutely, but so are LSU, Arkansas, Florida, and Tennessee

at some random piggie talking about dignity or humility, as if these are common traits coming from Arkansas fans that post on the Rant.

What do Hog fans know about these concepts?

The simple fact of the matter is that we are a historically better program than you in football, basketball, and track.

The fact that we held sizeable leads deep into 5 of our 6 losses only accentuates Sherman's shitty coaching. He had to actually overcome the leads A&M's surplus of talent provided him. It just took more than a half of play before Sherman could successfully steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

That you were "decimated" in many games this season--just one removed from a very successful one--points clearly to two things: Arkansas' crappy talent (no surprise there) and BP's genius.

But even if we were to assume the above is wrong, in no way does 2 more victories "unequivocally" mean that Sherman is a better coach than JLS, much less significantly better.

winnning back to back to back national championships in men's track isn't that impressive. we did that a few times during one of our runs. we have 40 titles after all.

Wrong again. A&M has more all time wins and a better win percentage all time in football than you.

So let me get this straight: you are trying to argue that having a lead going late into the fourth quarter symbolizes WORSE coaching than being down by 4 TDs going into the fourth quarter? Hysterical. Absolutely hyserical.

Ironic coming from a program that has been dominated by Arkansas historically.

So basically, if A&M doesn't do well it is because of coaching but if Arkansas doesn't do well it is because of lack of talent? Am I understanding that correctly?

And now you are saying that a coach who wins more isn't the better coach? You Aggies truly are unbelievable sometimes.

But winning back-to-back-to-back championships in both men's AND women's track and field is impressive.

Never in the history of man had it been done before.

Pretty sure three-peating in both men's and women's track at the same time is not something Arkansas has ever done...since it's only been done once.

Track
Arkansas
19 Mens' Indoor National Championships
10 Mens' Outdoor National Championships
11 Mens' Cross Country National Championships

Aggies
3 Mens' Outdoor National Championships
3 Womens' Outdoor National championships (lol)

You got a long way to go, Aggies.
