Tailgating for the Florida-LSU game this year and next.

Hey LSU fans, I hope you guys can make it to Gainesville over the next two years for our game.
I will have a bad arse set up and I will cook some crawfish (yes, I know it'll be out of season) in your honor.
Just giving you guys (the cool ones at least) an invite well in advance for both seasons.

You can drink on campus with no problems as long as you're not crossing a street on campus with beer in hand.
Also, you can tailgate on private lots just fine, just obviously don't leave the private lot with beer in hand.

You guys were nice and hospitable to us last year. There were only a few jackasses that talked shite before the game and kept repeating we were going to lose while we walked up your ~20 levels of walkway to get to the upper level. I know (or at least hope) those were just the anomalies.

I drove from BR to Gainesville in 04(I believe) and the whole experience was just terrible. UF fans were dicks, LSU fans were hammered and stumbling around in streets. UF beat the crap out of us and I got 3 tickets leaving Gainesville. Just a truly bad experience.

Come on back. We'd love to have you again. Just stay away from the drunk frat boys. That's true for all campuses though.

I honestly kind of feel like I need to do it again but with the right people. I went spur of the moment with a sorta friend of mine from Gainesville who's uncle gave us the tickets. I never ran into anyone I knew and the LSU fans who kinda let me chill at their tailgate got so drunk it was sad and embarrassing. I think Jarret Lee was sacked something like 47 times and I was surrounded by gator fans who made sure that I was aware of every detail.

Honestly, it depends on whether you sit by aholes or drunk ahole students.
I wouldn't sit near any opposing student section. Hell no.

Yeah like I said I just basically went and did it completely unplanned. The tickets were about as close to the student section as possible without being in it. Piss poor planning on my part equaled poor results.

Normally if I have extra solo cups I hand them out to the other teams fans. GPD and UPD have a hard on for fricking with them.
