Now I know you Bammers aren't scared of my Tigers. Why should you be? You've won 4 in a row and according to many of your posters your rushing defense is God's gift to football. These things I understand. If the ball is kicked off, we're fricked. BUT, and this is a big but, what if it isn't? What if lightning causes this game to be canceled?

The forecast isn't looking too good for you guys. Both teams have already used their bye weeks and open dates this late in the season are precious. If the weather causes this game to be canceled you guys are royally screwed. If the game can't be made up, what happens then? We continue our undefeated title run, and you pout at home while we win it all since you couldn't win your division, much less the conference. Watch the sky Gumps. Pray for sunshine. Your day of judgement is at hand.

Oh, and GEAUX TIGERS

Gumps can handle rain. It's corndogs who get all soggy.

A little water isn't getting you out of this one.

I'll humor your hypothetical though...we'd probably make the playoff anyway and see lsu in the first round as the #1v#4 matchup

You could just kiss this place goodbye if that happened

I think LSU would be the one screwed since you guys already cancelled and didn't make up your McNeese State game.

Pay attention piglet and wait your turn. I hope to God we play so the Gumps have no excuse. This is just a what if scenario. The weather Gods have been kind to us this year, one must admit.

Gumps forget that Saban is 2-2 vs LSU in Tuscaloosa since 2007. Home field is not an advantage lately

You're the only one thinking there's a real chance it won't be played.

What does that say?

Unless you can prove that record would've been the same in a neutral site, this shows nothing

If game were cancelled and LSU then went on to win it all:

CFP National Champions 2015*
*Played 10-game regular season

Joe Alleva will not allowed input into this decision.
But we know what he wants. He barely wants to play an 8 game SEC schedule.

Yeah. There's a 10% chance of rain by kickoff. Why are people talking about this like it's a big deal? Rain is going to be gone by Saturday night. It'll actually be quite comfortable for those in the stadium.

It would be postponed at worse.

The game is going to be played one way or another unless one of the teams forfeits.

You're more than welcome to come and carve the asterisk on the trophy Gump. Just remember where you found it and make sure you put it back.

Why all this talk about the weather?

Accuweather shows that from 7:00 PM and later the chance of rain is just 50% or so. Surely this won't be so bad that it threatens whether the game will be played.

I was just looking at NWS Birmingham office and the biggest threat for thunderstorms is Friday. High Saturday is only 67, so not really much to pop the storms off.
