Looks pretty nice. Great job on the upgrade.

Yep. It was well done. Fun place to see a game. Now hopefully we can improve the on field product a little bit.

Didn't you guys put up a Right Field similar to ours where the students can drink? Not sure where I heard that.

Yea, they did. Been a big hit. They actually did it the last year of the old stadium and it was packed and rowdy. Last year they clamped down on drinking and access and it wasn't great, but they compromised on some rules and this past weekend they had great turnout. Atmosphere stuff like that makes a huge difference, which is why Ole Miss' setup is so fun.

Not shitting on Ole Miss...but some fans need to get out more and know what other programs and stadiums have.

Arkansas, State, Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia all have outfield areas where you can drink and grill. I say that, but not sure if Bama and Georgia allow alcohol. Arkansas allows an ice chest and cups.

The good thing is that renderings for the Baum expansion are keeping the left field Pig Pen area.

Only complaint I have is the massive waste of alcohol by the fans. Yall should change the tradition to down your beverage in hand instead of throwing it on each other.

It's not all the fans. It's just the student section in the outfield. And its awesome as a student. You don't give a frick about wasting a beer, your team just hit a homer. We always brought more than enough alcohol in our cooler. Plus its actually refreshing sometimes, when you're shite-faced drunk and hot as shite outside. I'm not gonna lie, it feels pretty good. It's an awesome tradition IMO.

Can't bring beer onto Kudzu Hill anymore; since they cleaned the area up and renamed it "The Founders Garden" (I'm still rustled about this) now you have to go up the Sidewalk to the green and brick house above it to drink, harass the rift fielder, etc worry free. Friggin UGA is so damn image conscious that they neutered the one unique thing about the park.

None of that changes the fact that LFL gets made fun of by other SEC fans that already already make fun of MSU fans for being rednecks.

But you do you and be proud of it.

so every school that has renovated or built in the last decade has tried to copy it? That's making fun of us?

Ole Miss has a long, "storied" tradition of saying and repeating things ad nauseum that they wish were true.

It's a strange phenomenon. I think the OP is the same one who claimed Ole Miss now has the conference's best basketball venue.

The Ole Miss motto should be "Fake it 'til you make it"....or until you've convinced yourself you made it.

I guess I'm too poor to understand. I'll go drink my Coors Light and try not to spill it.
