Jerry Kill coached in Missouri at Webb City High School, a legendary Missouri high school football team that has won 13 state championships since 1989, the year Jerry Kill coached them to their first state championship.

quote:

Webb City High School, or WCHS, is a public high school in the Webb City R-7 located in Webb City, Missouri USA. they are also Ranked number 1 in Missouri and 12th in the nation in Football;also they have won 13 state championships, including currently 5 in a row. 1989, 92, 93, 97, 2000, 01, 06, 08, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14..

Also, Jerry Kill is close friends with Gary Pinkel due to his ties to Missouri and Pinkel.

quote:

Missouri coach Gary Pinkel became acquainted with Kill after he moved to Southern Illinois in 2001 when he accompanied his staff to soak in Tigers’ practices on two occasions.

Pinkel, the 2014 SEC coach of the year, and Kill, the 2014 Big Ten coach of the year, have been friends ever since. Both value discipline and loyalty, which is evident by the continuity of their staffs.

“I just know Jerry and what he’s done in Minnesota is no surprise to me,” Pinkel said. “I’ve known him over the years and he’s done a great job.”

Jerry Kill Missouri Ties

Gary Pinkel found out he had cancer back in May. It would not surprise to find out that his diagnosis and secret plans to retire were known by coaches and administrators close to Pinkel...a way to get feelers out so that Mizzou can make a worthy hire to replace Pinkel and keep the program moving forward.

Gary Pinkel alluded to this in his announcement.

I think Jerry Kill would be a perfect replacement.

Well, Jerry Kill needs to have his final heart attack on the Mizzou sideline.

He's a great coach, but I really don't want him to die on the sidelines one day. Because that's what its going to come to if he doesn't get those seizures properly taken care of.

Imagine him in The Swamp or Sanford Stadium or Neyland or Williams-Bryce... I just don't think it'd be safe for him.

I can't believe you can't find the coaching changes board.

I am actively posting on that board.

I can't believe you are treating a fellow Bama fan so rudely...

If he were to return to coaching, I don't think he'd take a step-down position like Missouri.

If I were a Mizzou fan, I would be all in on Justin Fuente.

Seizures, not heart attacks.

I should be ashamed at how hard I laughed at this.
